Pinups - Coca Cola

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo is another original-recreation of the classic Coca Cola ads of the 1940s with Nurse Anna. Military personnel were often featured prominently, especially women in the military, during WW2 in Coca Cola ads. WAC, WAVES, SPARS, USMC Women's Reserve, WASP, Nurse, etc were all used in Coca Cola ads during the time, often taking a 'pause' from the war to 'refresh' with a nice ice-cold Coca Cola. It's said that during WW2 is when Coca Cola became a true american brand, mostly because of the very Americana themed advertising that popped up in every magazine, soda fountain, drug store, billboard, brick wall, etc. The fonts, colors, and style of the original WW2 Coca Cola ads were carefully researched over the last year for these pinup Coca Cola ad recreations.
