Pinups - DC-3 Mechanic

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Amanda in this tribute to the Dc-3 and the mechanics that kept them in the air during WW2. In all the hustle of the christmas season, I overlooked the fact that the DC-3/C-47 was celebrating a birthday on Tuesday with it's first flight on December 17, 1935. 78 years later, the DC-3/C-47 is still being used by some countries and can be seen at many airshows. This aircraft surved a dual role taking paratroopers deep into enemy terrority and flying civilian passengers all over the world as an early airliner. Amanda has a long day ahead of her fixing up this C-47 before it can take more paratroopers into battle.
