Pinups - V for Victory!

Description

When most people see someone flash a V with their fingers in this day and age, they think it stands for PEACE having roots back in the 1970s in the years of Woodstock. Actually, the V hand sign goes back even further to World War 2 and was a V for Victory, which was a giant slogan during the war. British Prime Minister Winston Churchill flashed the V for Victory sign many times during the war. Along with the hand sign and slogan, someone came up with the idea of three dots and a dash, Morse code for a V which was then associated with the opening motto of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony: Da-Da-Da-Dum (•••–). Here's Kelsey in this 1940s bathing suit flashing the V for Victory surrounded by authentic WW2 'Spotter Cards.'
